Tyne - a single cylinder 11 x 11 mm bore/stroke oscillating steam engine - primarily developed as an engine suitable for the education of engineering students in the basics of steam powered devices. It is a subset of the Clyde engine.

Ideal for entry level into steam driven model boats up to 750 mm length where the reversing function is not required.
